Who wouldn’t be excited by the thought of a holiday home with its own beach hut! The Old Manse, which you’ll find next to Flexbury Church and directly opposite the Bude and North Cornwall Golf Club has use of a private beach hut at the Bude Sea Pool. Created in the 1930s to provide a haven for safe swimming for the people of the town and its visitors, the pool nestles under the cliffs and is topped up twice-daily by the waves of the Atlantic.
WELCOME INSIDE
Step through the front door of The Old Manse and you’ll immediately be charmed by this fabulous house. It oozes charm and tranquillity along with exquisite décor, with many original features, including a stunning Victorian tiled entrance hall and original cast iron fireplaces in the drawing room. Take a moment to relax with a pre-dinner drink in the drawing room before settling down for a delicious meal in the opulent dining room.
STEP OUTSIDE
The house has lovely views over the lush green golf links and its own courtyard dining area, that when lit up creates a wonderful Mediterranean feel. There is a small flint-stoned garden for simply sitting and relaxing, or catching up on that book you’ve not normally got time to read. It’s just a short stroll to the beach or into town where there is a good selection of restaurants and shops.
VENTURE FORTH
No holiday here would be complete without a visit to Bude Sea Pool. It’s perfect for youngsters to swim and play in at all times and the property’s private beach hut offers fabulous views over the pool and the Atlantic beyond. With a golf course on the doorstep, teeing off is a dream, or for more adventurous exploits there are a plethora of surfing beaches and cliff top rambles just around the corner.

There are three superking-sized bedrooms plus a further double bedroom, a large family bathroom with bath and shower, a further shower room and a separate WC on the ground floor.
LIVING AND DINING
The drawing room, with views over the golf course, has comfy seating and an open fireplace for those chilly winter evenings. A selection of board games and books for some good old fashioned entertainment. The kitchen has an Aga Rangemaster cooker and an American-style fridge freezer.

The Old Manse is a beautiful characterful property, that's spacious and well appointed. We particularly liked the layout with bedrooms and bathrooms on both first and second floors, accommodating everyone with an element of privacy and grandparents able 'to escape' toddler rumpus when required. Safe, contained pretty courtyard garden providing welcome outside space, perfect for chilled evenings and BBQing. Easy, unrestricted, parking directly outside. 10 minute buggy push and 5 year old legs walk to several lovely beaches and into Bude. The management company were exemplary, facilitating access to the property on time and then supporting us to rectify a missed bin collection because of the bank holiday and a light fitting that needed changing in the shower room. Really impressed, well done.
